1. Applications
Used as bare overhead transmisssion cable and as primary and secondary distribution cable. ACSR offers optional strength for line design without sacrificing ampacity.

2. Construction
Aluminum wires are concentrically stranded about a steel core. Addtional corrosion protection is available through the application of grease to the core or infusion of complete cable with grease.
