2. Description

The ACAR-WRS-HAT-MTN-WND is a high-performance wind-resistant aluminum conductor aluminum alloy reinforced, specially developed for high-altitude mountain lines and wind farm grid connection projects. It integrates six core advantages: excellent wind load resistance, strong wind-induced vibration suppression, superior high-altitude environmental adaptability, reliable low-temperature toughness, stable electrical performance under strong winds, and long service life in alpine windy environments.

The product adopts a wind-resistant optimized structure: the aluminum alloy core is made of high-strength Al-Zr alloy with low-temperature anti-brittle treatment, and the outer aluminum strands adopt a low-wind-resistance concentric stranding design, which reduces wind resistance coefficient by 18% compared with conventional ACAR conductors. The conductor is equipped with built-in anti-vibration damping components, effectively suppressing aeolian vibration and galloping, avoiding fatigue damage caused by long-term wind oscillation. The surface is coated with a high-density anti-oxidation and UV-resistant layer, resisting strong ultraviolet radiation, low-pressure and dry air in high-altitude areas, as well as corrosion from mountainous humid air and frost.

Compared with traditional conductors, this product effectively solves the problems of wind-induced damage, fatigue failure and short service life in high-altitude mountain windy environments, significantly reducing maintenance costs and downtime for wind farm projects. It operates stably in the temperature range of -50ºC to 90ºC, adapting to extreme low temperatures, large day-night temperature differences and strong gusts (up to 45m/s) in high-altitude mountain areas. With high electrical conductivity (≥58% IACS), it ensures low transmission loss for wind power evacuation, improving energy utilization efficiency for high-altitude wind farms. As an ideal wind-resistant solution for high-altitude mountain lines, it provides durable and reliable power support for alpine wind power development and high-altitude mountain grid construction.
